Acacia 109-11052 wallpaper from the Ardmore collection of wallpapers.

Acacia 109-11052 wallpaper is a beautifully flowing, patterned wallpaper.   The Acacia tree is an enduring sight in Africa with its bright yellow ‘fluff-ball flowers, and holds warm memories for Ardmore founder Fee Halsted.   Having always had monkeys around her as a child, these humorous animals full of wit, pranks and intelligence have created a soft spot in her heart, and in turn have provided the inspiration for this striking new ‘conversational’ wallpaper. Designed to create a wide striped effect, this paper is subtle yet will add drama, especially with the addition of our two charming pranksters.

Colour palettes are drawn from the natural landscape: from the chalky, ochred desert plains and sun-bleached shimmering outcrops to the vibrant fresh greens of water-kissed rainforests and exotic colourings of native flora and fauna. The result, a strikingly sophisticated collection of wallpapers that includes soft and subtle explorations of the majestic landscape as well as colourful creations capturing the vibrancy of traditional African culture.

The Savuti is one of Africa’s most loved and well known national parks where hoopoes and hornbills call and sing whilst baboons and chameleons sun themselves in flowering Coral Trees. This wonderful African garden has been recreated as a wallpaper in seven colourful and distinctive colourings each offering a different look – a bright orange and charcoal with a monotone engraved feel – a duck egg and old stone with a more faded and antique illustrative tones, and a series of three brightly coloured more child-like colourings on grounds of cram, dark petrol and khaki.

Cole & Son was founded in 1875 by John Perry, the son of a Cambridgeshire merchant.   Situated in Islington in north London, the business was built and developed in an area famous for the 190 hand block printing factories, working there in both the 18th and 19th centuries.

From these early beginnings, Cole & Son have moved to their current position in the wallpaper industry and continue to develop in the spirit of innovation and development, that began over a 130 years ago.

Acacia 109-11052 wallpaper is manufactured in rolls 10m long x 52cms wide with a 76.2cms half drop pattern match repeat. These wallpapers are wipeable and have good light fastness.
