It was first block printed in 1877 on foiled paper, which was lacquered, stamped and stencilled in oil colour, a technique perfected by Jeffrey & Co., to stimulate the expensive Japanese leather papers imported yb Arthur Sanderson. Chrysanthemum wallpaper is manufactured in 10.05m long rolls, 52 cms in width and with a straight match pattern repat of 52cms. Elite ready mixed paste is the recommended adhesive and 1 kg of paste, covers approximately 1 roll.
